Dublin X Factor legend Mary Byrne was rushed to hospital after her tour bus was involved in a terrifying crash.
The 63-year-old had been touring in the UK with the cast of 'Menopause the Musical 2' when their tour bus crashed with a lorry who braked to avoid hitting a deer.
The Ballyfermot native was hospitalised after the crash to be treated for arm injuries and tissue damage to her back and neck. She told The Irish Sun: “The poor guy driving the lorry in front, a deer ran out in front of him and he swerved but ended up killing the deer and jamming on his brakes.

"We went right into the back of him. The whole front of our bus was wrecked, the engine was destroyed."
Ms Byrne added that she felt "so lucky" that she had her seatbelt on and described the incident as "the most frightening thing" that has ever happened to her.
The show had been due to open in Woking on Saturday for its UK tour but was postponed.
