A Dublin Lotto winner who took almost three months to claim his whopping €250,000 prize has revealed he "knew all along" that he had won.
The man, who wishes to stay anonymous, recently claimed his Lotto Plus 2 top prize from November just days before it expired. Lotto winners have 90 days from the draw date to claim their prizes before the money goes back to the National Lottery.
The winner said the ticket had been in his bedside drawer for the past couple of months. “I knew all along that I’d won but I just wanted a little bit of time to let it sink in," he said.
