St John of God Dublin South East is looking to recruit new members to its team through an upcoming open evening.
The group provides important services to adults and children with intellectual disabilities and is based in Dun Laoghaire. The open evening will take place on May 10 and will give people an opportunity to learn more about the demanding yet rewarding jobs on offer.
People interested in working as healthcare workers must hold their QQI Level 6 qualification in psychology, nursing or a related area in order to be eligible for a position. Those with a QQI Level 5 qualification in areas such as special needs studies can apply to become healthcare or programme assistants, while actively working towards their Level 6 qualification.
People can interview on the spot on the open evening for a position in day services. Members of the St John of God Dublin South East team will be on hand and are happy to provide people with information on what the roles entail.
Those wishing to interview at the event must bring their CV in order to be considered. A valid driver's license is also essential for most roles.
The open evening will take place next Wednesday in Dunmore House, Glenageary and will last from 5pm-8pm. People can register for the event and find out more about various roles via Eventbrite.
