Gangland shooting survivor Lee Boylan celebrated his wedding in Spain last week with his father - who was also wounded in a gun attack.
Our picture shows proud Noel “Seanie” Boylan look on as his son married his longtime partner in front of friends and family at a small ceremony last Wednesday. The couple had initially wed in a registry office in Dublin last month before jetting off for their bash on the continent.
Lee had a long road to recovery after he was shot a number of times on the Blakestown Road in Mulhuddart on March 6, 2019, as he sat in a van. The 27-year-old was left with life-changing injuries but survived through miraculous luck.

The Dubliner would have bled to death if his carotid artery and jugular vein had not joined in an “arteriovenous fistula”, an abnormal connection between an artery and a vein that stopped the bleeding. Just three months later, Boylan Snr – a convicted armed robber – was shot twice on the same road, but also survived.
A source said: “The family have been through a lot in recent years. At first it didn’t look good for Lee when he was shot but it was only a miracle really that saved his life.
“Then Noel was shot and he survived then as well. They are very close and Noel now claims he’s on the straight and narrow, stepping away from the life of crime after their troubles.”
Alan Graham, 50, of Caherdavin, Limerick, was jailed for 10 years for his role as a getaway driver in the gun attack on Lee. Boylan Snr was previously considered by gardai to be a well-connected underworld player in West Dublin.
Among those he was said to have links with included exiled cartel boss Christy Kinahan. He was previously caged for his role in an attempted armed robbery in 2006.
