It was a busy night for Dublin Fire Brigade as crews battled two car blazes and a wildfire in the city.
Firefighters raced to tackle two separate vehicle fires in Tallaght last night, one of which spread to nearby trees and bushes. Fortunately, brave DFB members managed to bring the fire under control before it spread any further.
Dublin Fire Brigade shared pictures of the frightening looking blazes on social media this morning. They said: "Firefighters from Tallaght dealt with two car fire in their area last night. One of the fires spread to the nearby bushes and trees but its spread was halted by the firefighters."

A second crew from Tallaght joined efforts to halt a wildfire in Glencullen that took almost 14 hours to get under control. DFB were alert to the gorse fire at 6:30am yesterday morning and finally managed to extinguish it at 8pm last night.
DFB tweeted yesterday: "From 6.30am this morning firefighters were fighting a gorse wildfire in Glencullen Co. Dublin. Using a combination of hand tools, gorse beaters and lightweight hose the fire was brought under control shortly after 8pm tonight."
They added the area would be closely monitored but were expected the heavy rain which arrived this morning would help keep the blaze at bay.
"It's looking like our rain-dance was successful which should bring this situation to a conclusion," the fire service tweeted this morning.
