Dublin business owner's plea for support after vandals 'trash' vital equipment

A Dublin business owner has issued a heartfelt plea for support after their beloved drive-in-movie business was "trashed" by vandals recently.

The owner of Retro Drive-in Movies, Ryan O'Neill, said the incident happened two weeks ago on February 27 in Leopardstown. It is understood that the vandals broke into a storage facility housing a number of trailers and shop units.

The break-in has caused up thousands of euro worth of damage, with the thieves also stealing stock, equipment and fittings belonging to the local business. In a post on Instagram, Mr O'Neill confirmed that they are back screening movies at Leopardstown Racecourse this weekend, with an appeal for the public to help a "local business survive a tough time."
