Dublin Airport passengers top destinations as airport gears up for busy summer

Summer is finally here and thousands of holidaymakers will be jetting off to hotter climes for a much-awaited time off.

Spain has reigned supreme as the number one destination for travellers to visit this summer. This is followed by the US, France, and Portugal.

June, July, and August are set to be the busiest months at Dublin Airport since 2019, according to the daa. Dublin Airport saw 3.05 million passengers travel during May, which was similar to the number that travelled in the same month in 2019 and up 17% on 2022 levels.
