Dublin Airport jobs: Cleaning, security and summer roles on offer

Dublin Airport is hiring new staff for a variety of roles in the lead-up to summer.

Cleaning, security and summer roles are among those on offer as the airport gears up for the busy season.

Security

The Airport Search Unit is hiring officers and offering an hourly rate of pay of €14.14.

"Flexible contracts" are on offer and successful applicants will be guaranteed 30 hours but must be available to work 40.

The job description says that the "primary responsibility of an ASU Officer is to ensure the secure, and efficient movement of passengers through the security process at Dublin Airport in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements and in a manner that enhances the customer’s experience."

It is a 24/7 shift-based roster and is primarily based indoors in the airport but "some opportunities may become available over time, to work outdoors at the vehicle checkpoints".

Cleaning

Dublin Airport are hiring Airport Cleaning Team Members "to ensure the quality of cleaning and sanitisation of all passenger facilities across the full airport journey in a highly visible manner."

The job description says that successful candidates will report directly to the Service Delivery Team Leaders.

Those hired will become "the ‘face of Dublin Airport’ to convey a professional, helpful, friendly attitude and service to all Dublin Airport users".

Team members will rotate between duties on a roster basis and will operate cross-terminal and campus wide.

The salary for this role is not disclosed in the job description. The roles are shift-based and will provide 24/7 coverage throughout the airport.

Summer jobs

The Airport is hiring for a range of seasonal vacancies and offering roles in "across the airport operation, from car parks through to retail".

The roles have 20 hours of guaranteed weekly work but applicants must be available to work 40.

The Airport is hiring for the roles "in anticipation of increased passenger numbers and to supplement our permanent frontline rosters".

Details on salary are not disclosed in the job description and applicants but be available to work across a 24/7 frontline roster.
