People living on a residential street in Nottinghamshire have called for measures to be put in place to combat speeding. Neighbours in Arno Vale Road in Woodthorpe say motorists sometimes travel at up to 60mph down the 30mph limit street, which has a school.
Ken and Jacqueline Wood, who have lived on the road for more than 30 years, said speed cameras should be installed. "People speed down here a lot, especially at night," said Mr Wood, 69.
"We can hear them coming up the road. We've complained to the county council. We had speed bumps at one stage."
