A driver was taken to hospital on Sunday morning (September 4) after a crash on the M60 near Worsley. The incident, near Junction 13, involved one vehicle but obstructed lanes causing congestion.
The driver sustained minor injuries and was conveyed to hospital. Emergency services attended the scene at around 6.30am and cleared the scene.
The incident caused severe congestion, with traffic backing up on the A57 Liverpool Road in the Barton, Peel Green, Patricroft and Eccles areas.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 6:30am this morning (4 September 2022), officers attended a single vehicle road traffic collision near Junction 13 on the M60 in Worsley.
"A car was obstructing lanes and emergency services attended. They cleared the obstruction, while the driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries."
