A driver had a miracle escape after a crash between a car and an HGV on a busy motorway.
The car ended up right in front of the truck on the M74 on the northbound carriageway, with a picture from the scene showing what appears to be a very close call.
Police said no injuries were reported following the accident last week, and an eyewitness said: "It looked incredible. The white car was jammed in front of the lorry and they were both sitting in the hard shoulder.

"The car's tyres had exploded and were totally flat.
"There were people standing at the side as well as the truck driver.
"It really looked like an incredible escape."
Police Scotland said: "Around 4.20pm on Thursday, September 23 officers were called to a report of a two vehicle crash involving a car and a lorry on the M74 Junction 3.
"There were no reports of any injuries and recovery was arranged."
