A driver has been left gobsmacked after being left a cheeky note on the back of his parking ticket.
They came back to their car to find the glaring yellow note on the windscreen in East Lothian, Scotland, but it was the message on the back that caught their eye.
Alongside the fine from an East Lothian traffic warden, the driver has shared a note which was supposedly on the back of the fine - though it is not known who wrote it.
The blunt handwritten message simply said: 'Parked like a t**!!'
Sharing it to Snapchat, the driver joked: "Not all parking attendants are p***** lol."
Drivers can receive a parking fine, known as Penalty Charge Notices, for a number of reasons, Edinburgh Live reports.
From parking on a length of a yellow line to parking without a permit or over the maximum stay, cars around Scotland can be hit with that little yellow pack on the windscreen.
While it cannot be verified if the note was from an East Lothian traffic warden, a spokesperson for East Lothian Council said: "It’s quite likely that the note was not written by the parking attendant – and it’s certainly not acceptable or representative of our standards."
This comes as drivers will see parking fines in East Lothian rise to £100 from £60 from April.
The fine will be halved to £50 if paid within 14 days.
