Three more people emerge from New York manhole, as UN general assembly ongoing

Three unidentified people were seen emerging from a manhole in New York City’s Upper East Side neighborhood early on Wednesday before fleeing the area, police said, in an incident that comes as many world leaders have gathered in the city for the United Nations general assembly.

The incident is the latest in a series of similar cases involving people entering or emerging from New York City’s sewer network in recent months that have gone viral online.
