Driver fumes as shopper stands in parking space and refuses to move

At this festive time of year, parking outside of shopping centres can start to get a little heated, as demonstrated in one recent tense interaction. In footage that has since gone viral, an outraged Audi driver can be seen furiously trying to park their car in what would appear to be a free space, absolutely incensed that a shopper is already standing in the spot.

Although many would simply move on as soon as someone began honking their horn, the person in question remained firm and still, apparently determined to hold the place for someone else. The result was a stand-off worthy of Clint Eastwood himself.

The video has been shared to TikTok by user Jeffere, who goes by the name @jeffere10, and set to the Survivor song Eye of the Tiger. The track is of course best known as the soundtrack to the Rocky movies and in many ways, the feud here feels just as fiery as one you'd see unfold in a boxing ring.

Jeffere, who appears to have taken the vid, could be heard unable to contain his laughter at the surprisingly dramatic scene, dubbing the shopper as the 'Karen of the Day'.

The clip has clocked up more than 38.5k likes and counting, and various followers couldn't get over the cheekiness of the woman some have jokily crowned 'the Karen of all Karens'.

Taking the side of the driver, one person declared: "I would just stay there, so her husband or boyfriend couldn’t get in there either."

Another agreed: "I would have stayed there with my car blocking whoever she was holding the space for until she left. Then pull in."

Replying to fans eager to know the outcome of the dual, Jeffere confirmed the determined Audi driver ended up bagging the spot for themselves. It's unclear whether or not the other parking contender went on to try the same trick elsewhere.
