Gardai have arrested a driver for breaking an unbelievable number of laws in Co Kildare.
The Naas Road Policing Unit were on patrol recently when they stopped the car, which was travelling at 137km/h in a 100km/h zone. The motorist was found to be breaching not just one or two rules, but five different rules.
The silver Mercedes was found to have false number plates on and no insurance. Gardai also discovered that vehicle was stolen, and the driver had two bench warrants.

The driver was then arrested and the car seized at the scene. Posting about the incident on Twitter, a Garda spokesperson said: “Naas Roads Policing Unit stopped this car with false plates travelling at 137kph in 100kph area.
"The driver had no insurance and 2 Bench warrants and the car was found to be stolen. They were arrested and the car was seized. #SaferRoads #ItsAJobWorthDoing.”
The post has so far been seen by almost 50,000 Twitter users, with many leaving comments to praise gardai for their good work. One person commented: “Nice catch.”
Another added: “Good work gardai.” A third said: "Well done lads great job."
Meanwhile, in Kill village during a checkpoint a motorist was found to be an unaccompanied Learner driver with no L-Plates or NCT. Gardai said that their car was seized and they were issued a fine.
