The Boston Celtics have signed former USC and Rice forward Drew Peterson (no, not that one), a 24-year-old 6-foot-9 native of Illinois who was most recently playing for the Sioux Falls Skyforce at the G League level this season.
Able to put the ball on the floor and pass the rock in addition to shooting 40% from beyond the arc with the Skyforce this season, Peterson can defend well enough on the other end, averaging a steal per game with Sioux Falls. Signing a two way deal with Boston will make the Libertyville High alum available for Boston 50 games this season when he is not playing with the Maine Celtics in Portland.
To get to know his game better, check out the clip embedded below put together by fan-favorite videographer Tomasz Kordylewski.
