Drag Race UK fans slam BBC Three show for 'dirty' elimination in heartbreaking episode

RuPaul's Drag Race UK vs The World has been slammed for one of the most dramatic episodes in the show's history.

In heartbreaking scenes, Northern Irish drag queen Blu Hydrangea, 26, chose to send home Thai front runner Pangina Heals, 33.

Pangina, who is a judge on Drag Race in her native Thailand, had won two weeks in a row, but found herself in the bottom due to the show's controversial rules.

Brits Blu and Baga Chipz, 32, won Snatch Game in last night's show, meaning all the other contestants were up for elimination.

And despite Pangina pleading with Blu to save her - she got the boot in jaw-dropping television.

After Blu beat Baga in the lip sync, most fans thought the queen would send home Jujubee, who has been in the bottom continuously.

However as she revealed the lipstick with Pangina's name, the Thai queen broke down in front of the panel, including guest judge Michelle Keegan.

Doubled over, she apologised to her country as judge Michelle Visage put her head in her hands and RuPaul simply uttered: "Wow."

Realising the impact of her decision, Blu looked terrified as Pangina could still be heard wailing off-stage.

Fans were appalled by what they'd witnessed with many taking to Twitter complaining.

One fumed: "Just cancel the whole show. What the f***".

Another said: "That Pangina elimination was dark. I've never seen something that dark on Drag Race eliminations.

"I get it's reality TV and what you sign up for, but in my opinion playing the game like that is dirty af...it was so unfair."

While a third said: "The producers deciding to keep Pangina's sobbing in the background...was a choice."

Pangina has since posted on social media, saying has no regrets about doing the show.

She said: "I was heart broken but never angry. So be the best version of yourself and do not send hate to @BluHydrangea_

"I won’t have ANY of it. Just because I did not get first place does not mean I do not feel like a winner. Because I do. No regrets. Also I am such an ugly crier."

In what had already been an explosive series, Pangina found herself in the same position as Blu last week.

In more shocking scenes she chose to send home Canadian star Jimbo.

Baga Chipz was convinced the decision was tactical, however Pangina said she simply preferred Juju's performance.

RuPaul's Drag Race UK vs The World airs on BBC Three on Tuesdays at 9pm
