NEW DELHI: Capital’s cue sport fans will be in for a double bonanza in coming months, when the Delhi Billiards and Snooker Association (DBSA) plays host to two big-ticket events to honour the doyens of green baize masterclass.First up will be the HS Bhogal memorial 6-Red snooker tournament, which will begin from July 26 at the Megapool Academy in Dwarka.
Bhogal, a veteran cue sport administrator who trained some of the country’s finest cueists like Sandeep Gulati, Nihit Bhatia, Keerath Bhandal and Manan Chandra, among others, had passed away in January this year after suffering a fall at his home. He was the joint secretary of the DBSA for over 35 years.
