Doncaster set to deliver for latest chapter in Cargo2Go growth story

A high growth northern courier company is opening in Doncaster.

Cargo2Go is being launched in South Yorkshire, having recruited a record number of drivers in the second half of 2021.

Ambitious expansion plans will see franchises set up across the UK, having launched in Manchester in 2006.

A first franchise of the same-day service was established by Jim Mosley and Ben Frechette five years later, in Halifax, and the duo have now led on the recruitment of more.

It now covers 10 territories with revenues of £3 million.

The new Doncaster franchisees are Nuzhat Noreen Ul-Haq, Stenly Kupahurasa and Terrence Mutero. Terence has previous courier experience. Stenly currently works in the NHS and will come on board full time once the business allows, while Nuzhat is leaving her current job and will be full time running operations.

“We’re so excited to be part of the Cargo2Go family," Mr Mutero said. "It’s an exciting, fast-growing business It’s great to be part of that success story."

Strategically branching out along the M62, Doncaster joins further offices in Warrington, Liverpool, Leeds and Wakefield, while it boasts a national reach.

More than 30 people are now employed.

“It’s amazing to see the Cargo2Go brand expanding across the UK,” co-owner Mr Mosley said. “Our franchise set-up programme gives the franchisees everything they need to build a successful franchise.

“Ben and I are confident that Cargo2go Doncaster will achieve great things in that territory.”
