Donald Trump has said he is aiming to deport all illegal immigrants over his four year presidency - but will protect those who entered the US as a child.
The president-elect told an interview with NBC on Sunday that he plans to take executive action on his first day in office to try to end birthright citizenship, which confers citizenship on anyone born in the US regardless of their parents' immigration status.
