Donald Trump says the Queen should strip Harry and Meghan of royal titles

Donald Trump has called for the Queen to strip Meghan and Harry of their royal titles.

The former US President said he “would” take away the Sussexes’ titles if it were his choice in a pre-recorded interview with Talk TV’s Piers Morgan Uncensored.

Mr Morgan teased a clip of the interview on his social media account on Sunday evening.

When asked by the former Good Morning Britain host if he would strip the royal couple of their titles, Mr Trump said: “I would”.

He continued: “The only thing I disagree with the Queen on, probably one of the only things ever, is that I think she should have said, if that’s your choice, fine.

“But you no longer have titles, you know, and frankly, don’t come around where you’re just, because her loyalty is to the country.

“She said that many times. Her loyalty is to the country. And I think that he has been so disrespectful to the country, and it’s a great country.”

Mr Trump further criticised the couple, who stepped back from their duties as senior royals in January 2020 and are now living with their two children, Archie and Lilibet, in the US.

Giving his opinion on the pair, Mr Trump said: “I’m not a fan of Meghan, and I wasn’t from the beginning.

“Poor Harry is being led around by his nose. And I think he’s an embarrassment

“And I think when she spoke badly of the Royal Family, but in particular the Queen.”

Mr Trump also hinted he did not think their relationship will last, adding Harry would get bored of being “bossed around” or Meghan would start liking “some other guy better”.

“I’ve been a very good predictor, as you know. I predicted almost everything. It’ll end and it’ll end bad,” he told Mr Morgan.
