Donald Trump has formally directed his administration that from this point on, “Artificial Intelligence” is officially to be called “Super Intelligence.” His reasoning, published on the White House website, and titled “President Donald J. Trump Inaugurates The Era of Super Intelligence” explains, “The name Super Intelligence conveys the true capabilities of the technologies being developed today.”
It goes on to justify the change, arguing, “Using the name Super Intelligence will ensure departments and agencies remain focused on expanding the capabilities and applications of these technologies to empower Americans, strengthen our economy, and improve the lives of the American people.”
