Donald Trump has unveiled a new and deeply ironic foreign policy project: the “Board of Peace” for Gaza. From the look of its executive members and invite list, it’s less a peace council and more a reunion of the world’s biggest geopolitical contradictions.
The Board is supposedly created to guide reconstruction and ceasefire efforts in Gaza. But ironically, its charter does not even mention Gaza (via NY Times). The Board’s roster and Trump’s own invitations have sparked incredulity, outrage, and a massive wave of social media mockery.
