Donald Trump has arrived at Turnberry this afternoon.
The former US President arrived at the luxury Ayrshire resort wearing his trademark Make America Great Again (MAGA) cap.
Photos from the five star Carrick resort show Trump being whisked from a black Chevrolet Suburban and up the iconic steps at the golf venue where staff in MAGA hats lined the staircase to greet the 45th US President.
After posing for a few pictures, Trump jumped into a golf buggy and headed for the first tee at the renowned course.
The 76-year-old touched down in Scotland yesterday and told reporters at Aberdeen Airport "It's great to be home - this was the home of my mother," before getting into one of his cars and zooming off to his golf resort among the sand dunes at Menie.
His mother Mary was born on Lewis in the Outer Hebrides before emigrating to the US.
Ahead of the visit, Mr Trump said he would be opening a "spectacular" second course on his Menie Estate at Balmedie in Aberdeenshire.
Trump is on a golfing trip and was last spotted at Turnberry in 2018.
He's also expected to head to his course in Doonbeg on Ireland’s west coast.
Trump is hoping to occupy the White House again in 2024 and is seen by many as the presumptive Republican nominee.
