Dominic Calvert-Lewin laughed off suggestions Everton boss Sean Dyche has been checking what mattresses the players are sleeping on.
The Blues manager had previously revealed to reporters that his staff were researching the types of mattresses his squad were using in a bid to improve fitness and limit injuries - something Calvert-Lewin has said was a joke.
Everton are now 17th in the Premier League after their 5-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion lifted them out of the relegation zone, but they welcome league leaders Manchester City to Goodison Park on Sunday.

After spending much of the season out with injury, Calvert-Lewin is now back fit after Dyche and his staff allowed him time in training to work his way back up to full fitness.
The striker was asked by Tubes on Soccer AM whether Dyche has been checking his mattress: "[Laughing] No. In all fairness, he came to me one morning and he was like: "Dom, just to let you know I've done an interview yesterday and I was just joking. I said about your mattress.
"I've seen the interview after that and realised and then someone said to me the manager's been talking about your mattress and people took it literal, but he was joking. But, no, he's not been checking my mattress."
