Dolphins WR Braxton Berrios appears to be the team’s first to wear No. 0

New Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios isn’t a new name to the South Florida area, as he played his college ball for the Miami Hurricanes at Hard Rock Stadium, the same field he’ll now play his home games on in 2023.

He was originally drafted by the New England Patriots, where he donned the No. 14 before being placed on injured reserve, ending his rookie season. The next four years he spent with the New York Jets, wearing No. 10 – worn by Tyreek Hill in aqua and orange.

Now, that he’s back in Miami, he appears to be changing his number again, as Berrios took to social media to share a jersey edit with the No. 0.

An offer for Dolphins fans

The NFL recently changed their rules and regulations to allow players to wear the number, and Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Calvin Ridley became the first to make the switch.

Earlier in the offseason, Dolphins safety Jevon Holland had to shut down rumors that he would move to No. 0 for the 2023 season, which would’ve completely thrown off his “Snowman” moniker for his No. 8.

With a new jersey number in a new offense, Berrios has an opportunity to really put himself on the map and help elevate the Dolphins to new heights.
