Miami Dolphins left tackle Terron Armstead and cornerback Kendall Fuller will both sit out Monday against the Tennessee Titans due to concussions suffered in Week 3 vs. the Seattle Seahawks, head coach Mike McDaniel announced Saturday.
Injuries have plagued Armstead for much of his career and Monday with be the 12th game missed by the lineman since he joined the Dolphins in 2022.
Fuller signed with Miami in the offseason after spending the last four seasons with the Washington Commanders.
McDaniel didn’t say Saturday which players will start in place of Armstead and Fuller.
The options to replace Armstead at left tackle are veteran Kendall Lamm and second-round rookie Patrick Paul. It was Lamm who stepped in for Armstead in the last two weeks with the starter dealing with shoulder issues and his concussions.
With Fuller out of action, the Dolphins will likely lean on undrafted rookie Storm Duck and potentially slide nickel cornerback Kader Kohou outside. Second-year cornerback Ethan Bonner, who was a healthy scratch in the first three weeks, will presumably make his 2024 debut, as well.
