Not only are the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs playing exclusively on Peacock Saturday night; they’re also forecasted to play in an extremely cold Arrowhead Stadium.
And when I say extremely cold, I mean FREEZING.
Weather Channel has a high of 10 (!) on Saturday and at night, it could be … -6 degrees. GAH!
If it were to hit that last number at kickoff, it would match the 2016 Seahawks – Vikings game as the third-coldest NFL playoff game ever, and just seven degrees away from the Ice Bowl in 1967. That doesn’t even factor in the wind chill, which could be worse.
So, uh, bundle up Chiefs fans. Maybe think about sleeves for all the players involved (I doubt that’ll happen).
The #Chiefs and #Dolphins game on Saturday night will be one of the coldest games in NFL history.
Wind chills during game time are forecast to be between -10°F and -15°F 🥶
