Dolphin pod creates spectacular displays off coast of Porthcawl

Lucky visitors to Porthcawl have been treated to some rather spectacular views from some new locals. A pod of dolphins appear to have taken a liking to the nearby water and have been showing off for those in the area.

Stephen Jones, of the Porthcawl RNLI, has been fortunate enough to get up close and personal with them on a few occasions over the past few weeks. The dolphins first popped up last month, surprising Steven, his wife, and a few paddleboarders in the area - see footage from that here.

It seems that the mammals are now sticking around for their summer holidays, with more spectacular pictures having been shared. The photos show the dolphins swimming alongside boats and leaping out of the water, showing off to everyone around.
