Lucky visitors to Porthcawl have been treated to some rather spectacular views from some new locals. A pod of dolphins appear to have taken a liking to the nearby water and have been showing off for those in the area.
Stephen Jones, of the Porthcawl RNLI, has been fortunate enough to get up close and personal with them on a few occasions over the past few weeks. The dolphins first popped up last month, surprising Steven, his wife, and a few paddleboarders in the area - see footage from that here.
It seems that the mammals are now sticking around for their summer holidays, with more spectacular pictures having been shared. The photos show the dolphins swimming alongside boats and leaping out of the water, showing off to everyone around.

The Dolphins have been spotted all along the coast of Porthcawl between Newton beach and Porthcawl Pier and appear to not be phased by the influx of tourists.. Have you seen them? Let us know in the comments.

Gower Coast Adventures is no stranger to encountering sea life on excursions between Oxwich Bay and Worm's head, with the 'Gower Big Three' of harbour porpoises, common dolphins and grey seals frequently sighted in the region's crystal clear blue waters. But rarely are they captured in such amazing detail.
