Dollar Strength Weighs on Cocoa Prices

Sep ICE NY cocoa (CCU23) on Tuesday closed -26 (-0.77%), and Sep ICE London cocoa #7 (CAU23) closed +1 (+0.04%).

Cocoa prices Tuesday closed mostly lower.  Tuesday's rally in the dollar index to a 2-1/4 month high weighed on NY cocoa prices.  However, concerns about tighter global cocoa supplies limited losses in prices.
