Dog the Bounty Hunter reveals he has a secret son on anniversary of wife Beth’s death

Dog the Bounty Hunter has stunned his fans after revealing he has a secret son.

The reality TV star famed for catching criminals in the US announced the news on what was the fourth anniversary of his wife Beth's death.

Dog, whose real name is Duane Chapman, shared a picture of his grown-up son to his social media accounts.

The image showed the muscly man, who looks like his dad, wearing a blue polo shirt and smart jeans. He wore a pair of sunglasses similar to the style his dad is well known to wear.

He was joined in the snap by his wife who opted for a polkadot off the shoulder top, blue shin-length jeans, and black heels.

She accessorised with a red belt and a pair of large pale pink sunglasses.

Dad Duane, 70, wrote in his lengthy caption above the image: "For the last four years, this day was a terrible reminder of one of the greatest losses of my life.

"But God redeemed this day when I discovered my son Jon, who I just met recently, was born on this day."

He continued: "So now instead of sorrow, this day has a new meaning. This is my son Jon and his wife Jodi."

Dog went on to tell his fans they will be able to find out the full story about his secret child in his new book titled Nine Lives and Counting. He didn't unveil its release date, but confirmed it is "coming soon".

He continued: "For anyone who has suffered a terrible loss please know God restores and redeems. Happy birthday son, love you both."
