A woman is urging fellow dog owners to be cautious when out with their pooches after her puppy was seriously injured while out for his standard walk.
Anna Nesterova has spoken out on the "shocking" ordeal, when her ret setter named Yoshi started "crying and whining" after playing with a sharp stick in the park. The seven-month-old had to undergo surgery after it was discovered that the branch had tore the pup's oesophagus.
Thankfully, Yoshi has now made a full recovery but his story serves as a frank warning for other pet owners who may, understandably let their dogs explore while out and about. Speaking to the Mirror, Anna from South Dublin recalled: "It all happened while we were out on a walk when Yoshi was playing and running around with other dogs.
