With the Oakland Athletics organization mired in a historically bad 2023 season and plans in place to relocate to Las Vegas, pressure keeps ramping up for A’s owner John Fisher to sell the team. But A’s fans got additional support for that cause from an unlikely source Tuesday night: Dodgers fans.
With the Athletics in town in Southern California for three games against the Dodgers in Chavez Ravine, Dodgers supporters picked up the slack and broke out their own “Sell the Team!” chants. The chants were loud enough to be picked up fairly easily on the broadcast of the game,

The Dodgers aren’t the first opposing fanbase to chime in. Oakland’s crosstown rival Giants fans broke out the chant last week, and they were also heard during the MLB All-Star Game in Seattle in July.
