Djokovic accuses British fans of disrespect during Davis Cup clash

NEW DELHI: Novak Djokovic, the 24-time Grand Slam winner, accused British fans of disrespect, alleging that some were attempting to provoke him during his straight sets triumph over Cameron Norrie during Serbia's Davis Cup quarter-final victory in Malaga on Thursday. Djokovic, known for his on-court composure, snapped at the fans during his post-match interview, urging them to "shut up" when they drummed loudly.

The Serbian tennis maestro addressed the incident in a press conference, stating, "That's disrespect, but that's something you have to be prepared for in a Davis Cup." He acknowledged that the passionate atmosphere of the Davis Cup can sometimes lead fans to cross boundaries.
