A popular football club in Farsley has been targeted by vandals who set fire to seats and knocked down a wall.
Farsley Celtic FC, based in The Citadel in Newlands, has been left "saddened" by the repeated attacks. On Monday, October 24, the community club shared that they found the seats in the stands burned.
The following day, club staff walked into a toilet cubicle and found a wall had been knocked down, and parts of another wall was ripped apart after trespassers reportedly broke into the site late at night.

Debris was spread across the floor and pictures shared on social media show the mess the vandals left behind. Wednesday evening's Farsley FC game against Kettering Town was cancelled.
The club tweeted: "Unfortunately, we have been subjected to vandalism over recent weeks, with our ground and other facilities damaged. The police are now involved, and if anyone notices anything untoward, please call 101.
"We are now looking to increase our security measures - if anyone is able to assist, please get in touch." Janine Yeowart said: "It's disgraceful." Sharon Reilly added: "OMG absolutely disgusting bloody animals."
The community club, where the semi-professional football team from west Leeds plays, has 300 children attending the club every week. "These actions will not be tolerated and the police are now involved", a spokesperson for Farsley FC added.
The club said they are now increasing security measures. Those heading to the Farsley spot this week are asking to avoid using the toilets, and to use the toilets in the Nest Bar nearby.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed they have taken two reports of criminal damage at The Citadel on October 22 and 25. Enquiries are ongoing.
