Diogo Dalot delivers ominous warning to Scotland ahead of Nations League tie

Manchester United star Diogo Dalot has ominously warned Scotland that Portugal are hitting their best form for years.

Scotland face the in-form Portuguese tonight at Hampden, who have a 100 per cent record in the Nations League so far.

They cruised to a 3-1 win in Poland at the weekend and although Dalot is expecting a tough game tonight, he reckons his side are at the top of their game.

"But Scotland will be a different type of game and we expect it to be difficult.

"There will be a good atmosphere which is typical of British football and stadiums.

"But we enjoy it when it's passionate like that.

"It's going to be a tough, physical match and you saw when we played them at home how much we suffered early on.

"We have to pay attention to what Scotland can do.

"For me, it’s always a pleasure to play for the national team.  I always try to enjoy it to the fullest."
