Thanks to an unfortunate slip-up, the WNBA might have a situation on its hands.
Since the Toronto expansion team was announced earlier this year, fans have been clamoring to find out what it will be named. They’ve even created their own suggestions, including some wildly unhinged stuff like Toronto RaptHERs. So, it should be no surprise that people have continued searching for possibilities, including on the league’s website.
A few clever folks think they might have uncovered the answer recently through a WNBA site glitch. The name “Toronto Tempo” was found hidden within some search functions, and fans speculate that this could be the name for the Toronto expansion team.

The error has since been corrected on the league’s site, but that didn’t stop anyone from having thoughts about it.
