Former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has hired a new agent, according to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.
The five-time Pro Bowl receiver has reportedly hired Kelton Crenshaw of Klutch Sports to represent him in free agency, as he enters negotiations with teams vying for his services.
Hopkins has been one of the bigger names swirling around over the course of the offseason. There have been numerous reports to him being linked to New England. Nevertheless, the Patriots will have to battle several suitors if they want to land him.
The former Clemson star is coming off a season that saw him miss the first six games due to a suspension. Even still, he managed to put up strong numbers. He recorded 64 catches for 717 yards and three touchdowns on the year.

Could the current clientele for Crenshaw be a sign that Hopkins wants to go to the NFC East? Chase Young, Kayvon Thibodeaux and DeVonta Smith are all on NFC East teams.
It’ll be something to consider in the coming days as talks continue to ramp up.
