TORY MP John Lamont has been accused of taking a sneak peek at Question Time presenter Fiona Bruce’s notes during Thursday night’s show.
The former MSP appeared on last night’s panel show alongside Jenny Gilruth, India Willoughby, Ella Whelan and Ian Murray.
A video posted on social media appeared to show Lamont taking a glance at something in Bruce’s direction.
We’ve all been there. We’ve all looked over at our mate in class to see if they have the answers we so desperately need.

After all, it’s not as though the Tories ever act like they know what they’re talking about.
One user said it would be “laughable” if Lamont was looking at the presenter’s notes while another wondered what the Tory MP was able to see.
The Jouker can’t be certain if it was Bruce’s notes Lamont was caught sneaking a wee look at, but even so it wasn’t an all-round great night for the Tory MP. If he did get a sneak peek at them, they certainly didn't help him out.
Just a few days after a report said that the UK economy is set to shrink and perform worse than numerous other major industrialised economies, including sanctions-hit Russia.
Fair play to Lamont though, he’s managed to detach himself from reality and somehow claim, with complete conviction, that the UK’s economy is “fundamentally sound”.
Talk about short memories. Was it not just a few months ago that Lamont’s colleagues Liz Truss and Kwasi Kwarteng trashed the UK economy?
Many took to Twitter to slam the comment, with one saying it “was embarrassing” to listen to what Lamont said.
Another added that it was a “standard robotic response from a Tory”.
