Diana Ross in Cardiff 2022: Road closures for Cardiff Castle gig

International superstar Diana Ross is coming to Cardiff Castle to perform some of her greatest hits. There will be a road closure in place for the concert.

Diana will be performing at Cardiff Castle on Friday, June, 10 with the doors opening at 6pm. The gig is expected to end at 10.45pm and Castle Street will be closed from 10pm to 10.45pm to help crowds disperse.

Diana will be in Cardiff less than a week after she was the headline act for Party at the Palace, a concert celebrating the Queen's Jubilee. It has been a big year for music in Cardiff as so far Ed Sheeran has performed in the Principality Stadium, read our review here, and Madness took over Cardiff Castle-you can read the review here.

Diana is one of the most successful recording artists and entertainers of all time and has shaped the sound of popular music. She led The Supremes to chart dominance with hits such as Baby Love, Stop! In the Name of Love, and You Keep Me Hangin’ On.

Welsh male choir Only Men Aloud will be supporting Diana Ross in Cardiff Castle. Only Men Aloud is a ten-strong male choir and have been in the limelight for nearly ten years.

They won the BBC One show Last Choir Standing and since then have performed at the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, The Royal Variety Performance, and gone on a very successful tour of the USA.

There are still some tickets available for Diana Ross's concert but at very low availability. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster for £96.85 and for £96.83 on Gigantic.
