The Arizona Diamondbacks' social media team produced the perfect roast of the Dodgers after completing a stunning three-game sweep Wednesday night.
Arizona’s 4–2 win sent the 100-win Dodgers packing without a single postseason victory, despite the fact that they had won 16 more regular-season games than the Diamondbacks.
Making things all the more sweet for Arizona: They didn’t just knock out one of baseball’s best teams, they also eliminated a division rival. So naturally, the team’s social media accounts had fun at the Dodgers’ expense postgame.
The official Diamondbacks quote-tweeted a tweet from the Dodgers that said “We’ll see you soon” after Arizona had won they NL Wild Card series with, “We’ll see you next season, Dodgers.”
We’ll see you next season, @Dodgers. 🤝 https://t.co/XD0a9NXNE7

Well-played, Diamondbacks.
Now, Arizona awaits its NLCS opponent, the winner of the Braves vs. Phillies series.
