Diage Festival, Thailand's leading digital arts and electronic music festival, is set to return from Oct 31 to Nov 1 at Cloud11 in Bangkok, promising another immersive celebration of cutting-edge audiovisual experiences.
Marking its first edition since 2024, the festival will once again bring together artists, designers, musicians and creative communities, with the full artist lineup to be announced in the coming weeks.
Launching its comeback, Diage Festival has unveiled Continental Affair (Diage Deconstruction), a newly reimagined version of Continental Affair, the iconic track by pioneering Thai electronic musician Cyndi Seui, also known as Cesar B. de Guzman.
Produced by Japanese sound artist and composer Koichi Shimizu, founder of the independent label SO::ON Dry Flower, the track also features vocals by Thanachai "Pod" Ujjin, frontman of Thai alt-rock band Moderndog.
Rather than a conventional remix, Continental Affair (Diage Deconstruction) completely reconstructs the original composition, drawing inspiration from Bangkok's vibrant contrasts where chaos and beauty co-exist.
The collaboration marks the first time Cyndi Seui, Koichi Shimizu and Pod have worked together, reflecting the festival's vision of fostering creative exchange between artists from different musical and artistic backgrounds.
The release also introduces the central concept of Diage Festival 2026, presenting Bangkok as a meeting point for digital artists, musicians and audiences to explore new ideas and creative possibilities through technology, sound and visual arts.
Founded in 2023, Diage Festival has quickly established itself as one of Thailand's premier platforms dedicated to digital arts and electronic music.
Beyond live performances, the festival embraces exhibitions, audiovisual installations and educational programmes, creating opportunities for local and international artists to connect while supporting the long-term growth of Thailand's digital creative scene.
This year's edition is organised through a collaboration between SquareDots., Ghost, Zubscribe and ChouxLab, with additional Thai partners to be announced. According to festival founder and director Chaiyapat "Natt" Plubsiri, Diage Festival's return is more than the revival of an event.
It is a celebration of Bangkok's growing creative community and a commitment to building a sustainable future for digital arts and electronic music by bringing together artists, audiences and industry professionals under one roof.
Since its debut at Show DC in 2023 and its follow-up event, Diage Degree in 2024, the festival has welcomed internationally acclaimed artists including Nonotak, 404.Zero, Nosaj Thing & Daito Manabe, The Observatory & Koichi Shimizu, Caterina Barbieri and Ryoichi Kurokawa, alongside prominent Thai acts such as JPBS, DuckUnit, Dogwhine, Marmoset, Notep, Pasuth and Jay V.
