Senior BJP leader Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday received a warm welcome from Odisha ministers and party MLAs during his first visit to his home state after resigning as the Union education minister following protests over alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG 2026 examination.
Five state ministers, 21 BJP legislators, two former MLAs and senior party leaders gathered at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar to welcome Pradhan, the BJP MP from Sambalpur.
Supporters raised slogans of “Dharmendra Pradhan zindabad” as they lined up on both sides of the road to welcome the former minister.
