DGCA probing Air India plane incident; will wait for final report, says aviation min Naidu

New Delhi, With DGCA investigating the Air India plane incident of a hijack alert that turned out to be false, Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu on Thursday said a decision on whether changes are needed in the existing security norms could be taken only after completion of the probe.

An Air India plane from Frankfurt to Delhi was diverted to Jaipur on Wednesday following a hijack alert that later turned out to be false, and resumed its journey after security checks.
