Police have charged someone with the murder of a 60-year-old man in Wandsworth.
Paulo Mendes, 27, of no fixed address, was charged on Sunday with the murder of Peter Sisson.
He will appear in custody at a magistrates’ court on Monday.
Police were called on Tuesday after concerns were raised for the welfare of an occupant of an address in Juniper Drive.
Officers attended and found Mr Sisson inside the property. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
A special post-mortem took place on Thursday. No formal cause of death was established and further tests will be carried out.
Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation “due to the circumstances”, the force said.
