Eagle-eyed fans spotted Cristiano Ronaldo handing over the match-ball to Alejandro Garnacho after a devastating hat-trick saved Manchester United against Norwich on Saturday afternoon. The 37-year-old gunned down the rock-bottom Canaries to put United right back in the top-four mix.
Ronaldo's heroics were coupled up with defeats for fellow top-four contenders Arsenal and Tottenham. Only three points now separate those sides with six matches to play - although the Gunners do have a game extra.
If they needed five-time Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo to spare their blushes, United supporters were also offered up two special heart-warming moments from the Portugal captain. Firstly, he invited Anthony Elanga to perform his iconic 'Siuuu' celebration after providing an assist for the opener.

After the full-time whistle, meanwhile, Ronaldo 'gave' his match-ball to another academy starlet. But did he, simply, allow Garnacho to carry it back to the changing room for him?
It has already been a memorable campaign for the Madrid-born Argentinian forward; Garnacho has been a standout for the U18s on their way to the FA Youth Cup final and recently trained with Ralf Rangnick and his first team for the first time. He was also called up by Argentina last month.
Rubbing shoulders with Ronaldo's long-standing rival Lionel Messi on the international stage, it seems that Ronaldo has now gone above and beyond to make his own impact on Garnacho. Here is a selection of comments from fans as they continue to speculate what happened in a moment caught by MUTV.
