Derry PSNI vehicle damaged after "stones and bricks" thrown

PSNI Derry City and Strabane District have spoken out after a vehicle was damaged after "stones and bricks were thrown".

Damage was caused to both of the vehicle's wing mirrors and to its body work after stones and bricks were thrown at it by up to 10 individuals, some of whom were masked.

The officers were responding to a domestic related matter in the Cromore Gardens area of the city on the evening of Monday, August 22, when the incident occurred.
