Dermot O'Leary joked that a new addition to This Morning is going to 'ruin' them as he and Alison Hammond shared the news. The pair were back at the helm of the ITV daytime show as it returned to screens for the final time this week on Friday (November 4).
Alison and Dermot had another busy show on their hands, kicking off with the usual 'This Morning's View' segment in which they discussed the latest news headlines before being joined by Blank Panther stars Lupita Nyong'o and Winston Duke live on the sofa as they chatted about the long-awaited sequel to Black Panther- Wakanda Forever.
There was also an appearance from Lorraine Kelly, who swapped her own ITV studio for next door as she popped over to talk about her new one-off Saturday night show Queens For the Night. And there was a lot of talk about I'm A Celebrity as after three years away, this year the ITV reality show is heading back Down Under.

Ahead of the launch this weekend, Alison and Dermot were joined by three people who are no strangers to the jungle - Peter Andre, Toff and Jake Quickenden - who spoke about their experiences as a campmate and cast their verdict on the 2022 campmates.
But during the show, Alison and Dermot had to tell viewers about a new edition to This Morning coming on Monday (November 7) when Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield return for hosting duties.
The Friday presenting duo revealed that a new competition called 12 At 12 will be launching and will viewers the opportunity to win up to £12,000. "Next week on This Morning, we are launching a brand new competition – it’s absolutely brilliant – it’s called 12 at 12," Alison revealed.
Dermot enthused: "Alright, so check this out, every single day one person could have a chance to win up to £12,000 when they play at 12 o’clock!" to which Alison said: "That’s amazing!" But her co-star may be slightly more practical as he joked: "That’ll ruin us!"
To enter, all viewers just had to do was work out which This Morning cast member’s face has been hidden. "That’s so easy!” Alison said. Dermot continued: "There’ll be a guaranteed winner every day next week," before Alison interjected: "This is the best thing ever."
It comes weeks after the show's Spin To Win game came under fire from viewers. This Morning was slapped with hundreds of official complaints in September shortly after Holly and Phillip's return from their lengthy summer break. But not only were the hosting duo back, but they were also joined by the programme's popular game as it was temporarily retired in their absence over the summer.
To mark its comeback, viewers had two chances to be chosen to play. The game usually sees a lucky fan of the show given the chance to win up to £3,000 with other, smaller prizes in between which has previously ranged from cash to trips out. However, as Holly, 41, and Phillip, 60, introduced the game, they revealed a new prize had been introduced. While cash prizes of £1,000 and £3,000 were still up for grabs on the wheel, energy bills were also added, meaning the show will pay the lucky winner's energy bills for four months if they land on it.
The following day ( on September 6) the game switched energy bills to household bills. And viewers were surprised by the 'frightening' change as they took to social media to comment on how the Cost of Living crisis has come to people needing to win their energy bills being paid. It was later confirmed that broadcasting watchdog Ofcom received 170 official complaints from upset viewers and the game returned to its usual cash prizes-only format on the Wednesday of that same week.
