Dermot O'Leary brands Alison Hammond a 'b*tch' as she mocks his presenting skills

Alison Hammond was forced to apologise to viewers during Monday's This Morning after Dermot O'Leary turned the air blue.

Around half an hour into the ITV show, Alison had a " Big Brother " reunion with former housemate Kate Lawler as she presented the show's latest competition.

Dermot, 49, then surprised Alison and said: "Let's have a quick look at you and Kate in this iconic moment in the Big Brother house."

This Morning then showed footage of Dermot presenting spin-off show Big Brother's Little Brother, which he fronted from 2001 until 2008.

"Look at you with a bald head, you should so go back to that bald head! Why don't you shave your head? Look how fit you look!" Alison, 47, commented.

Laughing, Dermot responded: "Call my wife now and see if she'd like me to shave my hair off. See how well that one goes down!"

Mother-of-one Alison then asked: "How do you feel when you see yourself like that?"

"I had the most fun on that show," Dermot replied, as Alison continued: "You were so young, you were so good at that show, really good."

Poking fun at her comment, Dermot then asked: "Just at that show?" before picking up a glass of water and saying: "Such a b*tch!"

Alison was shocked at Dermot's comment and quickly said: "Oooooh apologies for that language!"

Dermot seemed unbothered and added: "Oh sorry," before reading the link for the next segment as Alison tried to stifle her laughter.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
