Dermot Kennedy fans could be in for a chance of attending an intimate gig of his - in a Belfast bar next month.
The Dublin native, who played a sold-out Belsonic show in June, will play an acoustic performance, in an intimate setting, at McHughs bar on Queen's Square. The gig, which is on September 29, is one five special UK shows.
Announcing the news on his social media pages yesterday, he said: "To celebrate the release of my next album 'Sonder', I'll be doing a series of super intimate shows across the UK with @recordstore which I'm so so excited about! It’s going to be a completely different and unique show to and something I might not do again for a long time.

Dermot Kennedy is one of Ireland's biggest musical success stories, with his debut album 'Without Fear' spending 28 non-consecutive weeks at number one in the Irish Charts back in 2019, making it the second biggest selling debut album ever in Ireland.
Following his Belsonic show on Thursday, June 23, he took to Instagram to say it was "one of my favourite gigs ever." In a post soon after the concert ended, he said: "Oh my GOD Belfast!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!"
